What I’ve Learned This Weekend…

Hmmm.. this could become a permanent fixture on my blog ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Laundry never ends.ย  Never.
  • Taking a nap at 6PM means that you wake up at 6AM the next morning raring to go.
  • You’d be amazed at what you can do when you get up at 6AM on a Sunday.
  • I can’t believe how much better I felt about my Explorer when I got it washed today.ย  Now if only I did something about the inside…
  • Warm weather that melts all the snow is absolutely fantastic – until it comes time to clean muddy pawprints off every floor in the house, including the stairs up to our bedroom.
  • Nagging doesn’t work.
  • I’m super freaking lucky to have a husband who likes to cook and actually DOES it.ย  Even though I bitch about it sometimes, cleaning up after him isn’t so bad.
  • I wish my husband would beat this stupid Pirates Xbox game.ย  I’m tired of listening to the soundtrack.
  • Hour long uninterrupted baths in the middle of a Saturday afternoon are heaaaaaavenly.
  • I can’t believe I got sucked into a series about werewolves.ย  Bad Kristy, bad!ย  (If you’d like to join me in rotting your brain check out Patricia Briggs’ Mercy Thompson series)
  • Facebook is alternately the coolest thing in the known world AND the biggest pain in the ass known to man.
  • I’m super anal retentive when it comes to tracking our budget and spending.ย  Can you say “14 worksheet spreadsheet?”

How was YOUR weekend?

Boring. I almost wrote something once or twice. I approached the computer, it stared me down. I flinched. Back to the TV, which welcomed me like a lover. Then I read something. Finished the book you sent me last night, started King’s “Bag of Bones” early this morning. And that’s. it. for. me.

How does something with no eyes stare you down, hmmmm? I think your overactive imagination is running rampant ๐Ÿ˜‰ Don’t force it… just let it come naturally. Hope you enjoyed the Felix Gomez book – I’m starting the third one in the series now. Too bad I skipped the 2nd book because it’s not at the library.

I would have to agree with many of those! And I think it would be a fun weekly feature for you to do. ๐Ÿ™‚

I can only suggest one thing though for your 14 spreadsheets – Microsoft Money, woman! Sheesh! 14? Craziness!
